seventeen.

I've been seriously thinking lately about getting a Slice. Any thoughts? I like the size and the price especially.

Also, next month I'm going to my very first crop! It's an all day one, 9am-9pm. I'm very excited.

Happy New Year! Have some cards.
The top card is made with paper from Basic Grey's Urban Prairie line, and the polka-dotted sticker strip is by a company I can't remember right now. ;) The font is...one of the Pea fonts, I think.

The bottom card is Scarlet Lime exclusive stuff.

New page!
This page is done with almost all Scarlet Lime exclusive stuff, except for the letter stickers - those are American Crafts.

This paper from Glitz is *perfect* for scrapping my Cobra Starship concert photos. I need it!

New page!

Simple page of some concert pictures I took. I can't remember who made the paper, but it's from a Scarlet Lime kit. The chipboard button is American Crafts, and the rub-on on the tag is Cosmo Cricket.

New Amy Butler line from K & Company! It's called Lotus, and it's gorgeous. I WANT it! I haven't seen it in stores yet, though.

Brand new page!

Just did this today. Most of the stuff I used is from the latest Scarlet Lime kit. I wasn't that excited about some of the papers, so I made an extra effort to use them. The idea for the layout came from one I saw in the latest issue of Simple Scrapbooks.

Paper by American Crafts and Tinkering Ink, stickers by Making Memories and American Crafts. The font is Pea Tisha.

This is a page I just finished - well, almost finished. I still don't have a good photo of my friend, yet.

Everything is from K & Company's Amy Butler line. I trimmed the title off the journaling block because it didn't go with the page. (I also got the package of journaling stickets on clearance at Jo-Ann's for $0.97!)

Today, I am going to talk about fonts.

Never, ever, EVER pay for a font. Don't. I'll disown you if you do.

Why? Because there are SO MANY free fonts on the internet. If you can't find the perfect font for your project, you're just not trying hard enough.

Here are some of my favorite font sites:
DaFont
misprinted type
eknp
Simply The Best Fonts
Abstract Fonts
Font Bros
Fonts For Peas

There are many more font sites, too. Have fun downloading, and remember: don't pay for fonts!
